Why practise gratitude?

In the Law, there is a part where you need to practise gratitude, showing gratitude for the good things that have come into your life and also for those that you visualize and are coming into your life.

I might have found another reason why we need to practise that. Because when we show gratitude for those things that have come into our lives, we tend to pay attention to those things that are good. And by focusing on good things, our emotions tend to be good as well. You will find yourself happy that things are going smoothly or something good came into your life, and you are enjoying it. This was what I realised when I came to work this morning. It kinds of brighten up my day and once you feel good at the start of the day, things would be going smoothly, sometimes more than expectations.

So start feeling good and show gratitude for all the good things in life. Start saying thank you for the following, the computer working fine, the light is working fine, the weather is great, the safe bus ride, the nice and safe walk from your home to the bus stop, the working tap, the delicious food in front of you, the safe walk down the stairs, the nice looking cloud that you can see from your office window, the nice green grass by the roadside when you are walking to work, the nice walk up the bridge, the safe lift ride and many many more.

Keep focusing on the good things that happen, don't take them for granted. This will send a signal out and other good things will follow!

Cheers to that! And a BIG thank you! :)
