Charistmatic Leadership

Well this week is a short week, shortened by a Public Holiday, National Day. Been waiting for three days for the results of two job applications but up till now still no news at all. Wonder what happen anyway, as long as I make a successful application to any one of these two applications, all this wait would definitely be worth it.

Anyway, the purpose of this blog is to record a talk that I came across yesterday. The second talk which is regarded as the "best" show was to me just a reminder that network marketing is one way of survival in this society that we are in. The first talk was something of an eye opener to a small extent. Below is a summary of the talk. Title of the talk is "What is charismatic leadership?"

Four characteristic of a charismatic leader.

1) Politician - let his people see his vision, set proper goals and targets, his actions and words are congruent, manage his money well and maintain his sexual relationship well.

2) Military Leader - has the proper strategy, take care of his men, maintain the integrity of the rewards and punishment system and set an example

3) Educationist - make sure his subordinates are well taught, his teachings can be easily spread, and has the capability and knowledge.

4) Philanthropist - believing that giving is definitely better than receiving thus willing to contribute to the well being of his subordinates.

That is all for the recording. Like I mentioned just now, there is a successful network marketer that tells us that network marketing is the only way to succeed in this society that we are in but I actually beg to differ. He did mentioned that the traditional business has huge costs to worry about which in my opinion makes it very challenging and I seldom back down from a challenge. :) I do not dispute that network marketing is a good platform to learn about business but it is doing the actual business that I like because it gives me the adrenaline rush and if in the future I am successful in the traditional business, which I strongly believe I will, I can use the business as a leverage to add greater value to people's life which a network marketing business cannot do. Need an example? Network marketing cannot seek economies of scale that the traditional business can create, which can be use to add greater value to people's life.

The feeling of seeing someone that is successful in network marketing is reassuring to me that I am not wrong in network marketing being a good way to earn another source of income and if the right company is chosen, one can have a proper source of income instead of depending on a job which they hate but cannot be let go.

Hmmmm...... So fast, it has been 27 days already. Time really flies. When is the time going to come? Well only Time will tell. See you soon and all the best!! Make the best with what you have and the rest will just fall into place. :)
