Weekday --> Weekend, Weekend --> Weekday
Time passes so fast, Sunday is going to end soon and the start of another week is approaching us in less than 6 hrs time.
I think most of the readers would know that to me, the weekdays and the weekends does not matter too much in my life, because weekdays and weekends, I am working day in and day out. Either on work, on my business or on my wisdom.
But actually there is a bit of difference. I am always looking forward to weekends because that is a time where I can do the stuff that I want or read the book that I want to read, pursue the knowledge in the area that interest me at the moment. But at the same time when Friday comes, I kind of miss the weekdays, where I am working. Haha, thoughts sure can play tricks on people. I guess the reason why such thing is happening is because although we do not like work, it is pain that is within our comfort zone, something which is bearable and familiar to us. Now of course that does not mean I want to keep on be in a 'weekday'. The thought of it shudders me. It is always good to take a break from routine work and gather ourselves.
When we do cross over to weekends, we seem to be able to settle in fast because we broke off from shackles of work, the smell of freedom quickly excites our body and we party and enjoy our freedom to the fullest during the weekend. I love my weekend, because that is the time where I learn the most things, not that during weekdays, I would put off my learning. Just that during the weekends, I do most of my reading and pursuit of knowledge and wisdom like going to the temple to listen to something practical that I can use in my current life. Weekends is the time where I usually meet my friends as well, to catch up on what they have done during the week. With the Internet now, even when we do not meet physically, we are able to chat and catch up without making too much of an effort to arrange a meeting. But then I also look forward to work when the weekend is about to end! Hmmm.....
Oh well, I guess it is like the feeling of coming home, when weekend switch to weekdays. It is going back to our comfort zone, to be back in routine, to feel that you are contributing, adding value to society.
Well, no matter weekdays or weekends, I hope readers are not just seeing their life passes by. Weekend might be a good time to decide are you moving towards what you want in your life? The lifestyle you want, the contributions you want to make to this society, the level of wisdom you want to achieve and so on.
Only by considering all these would you not see your life pass by and weekends & weekdays would not be too much of a difference to you. Cheers!
