Is sooner really better?

In life, many would share the same experience with me. You would meet people that you wish you have met earlier. For such friends, it might usually be that you have something in common and wish you had met earlier so that you have a friend to discuss what you and him/her are passionate about.

Sometime it might be this special person whom you met and wish that you two can be together but alas the person is attached or even worse, married! When you met with this situation, you would wish that you have met this person earlier, so that his/her other half will be you instead. Recently I come across such a situation, she is getting married soon. Yes, she was not married when we met but she was attached already. Yes, many would have told me I should have went after her but she is having a good relationship with her bf, there is no reason for me to go in at all.

Many people would share the sentiments that if I have met her earlier, things would have changed. I might be the better half instead, but if you think again, it might not be true. If I met her earlier, yes, I might be with her but then again, who can say that if we are together, we will be together forever? No one can say for sure, and do note that she would have a different impact in your life if you have met her earlier. Positive or negative impact no one knows at all. And anyway, there is no use to contemplate about whether things would be different or better if met earlier. No use because we cannot go back through time or create hypothetical environment to test out. Focus on what needs to be done now so that you can create the future you want. I think that is most important. =)
