Its been more than a year!

Wow, just discovered that it has been more than a year since I wrote my blog and I am sure most of my friends have not written on their blogs as well.

In any case, thought I post an entry here to mark the last day of work in the first bank that I work in. I must say it is a good experience to work in the bank as I learn a lot things. Not that a lot of things were taught but more of learning from the experience and observations I have made in the last 2-3 years. I am sure I have benefited from these experience and if I do ever become a boss which I will, I am sure these experience especially treating human resource would benefit a lot.

Why I said this is because I felt that a lot of HR issues are mishandled. Efforts and results are not adequately rewarded because of POLICY (sounds familiar?) and employees are treated like non-family member because news are always announced to the public first rather than employees first.

Appraisals are not done in a fair manner because a group of staff with measurable results are placed side by side with group of staff whose results are non-measurable by numbers.

Some of the business strategies adopted are something that I do not concur as well but I shan't say much because those people seem to be delusional.

Any way that is it for now. No idea when is the next entry but I will write whenever possible to keep some records of my life.
